Obituary For Aaron Joseph Bazzone

Aaron Joseph Bazzone passed away on April 30, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Natalie Barry Bazzone and stepfather of Megan J. Barry, cherished son of James Andrew Bazzone and the late Judy Ann Bazzone, dear brother of Douglas James and his wife Wendy Wang and Mark Christopher Bazzone, and beloved uncle of Kyle and Evan Bazzone.

Born June 24, 1970, in Pittsburgh, Aaron was known to everyone as a happy child with a mischievous sense of humor. That sense of humor continued throughout his life; he could always get a laugh or smile from Megan.

The gift of a Commodore Vic-20 computer in elementary school led him to a career in computer programming. Clients at major companies and universities commented on the joy they found in working with him as well as on his high degree of skill and his humility. He established and served as president of Zone Web Consulting. His contract services over the years included projects at Stanford University and the Stanford Medical School as well as headline companies such as Apple, Genentech, WalMart, Cisco, and many others.

Aaron’s success in computers followed his graduation from North Allegheny High School in Pittsburgh and achievement of a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, where he studied bass guitar. Music was an important hobby for Aaron throughout his life—he was skilled in a wide range of styles from modern jazz and rock to adaptations of Mozart. Aaron was drawn to nature, enjoying walks in the woods and under the open skies. He had a strong affinity for animals, especially birds, and bred Zebra Finches. His favorite animal was his horse Blue.

Aaron will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

The family is being assisted by the Chapel of the Roses, Fremont, California. The service will be held there on Friday, May 6, at 10:00 a.m.

Aaron was such a special person. I was always so touched by how much he loved animals, I remember him doing so many things to care for Blue, Buddy, and animals around the house. He was so supportive of his family. Such a tragic loss of someone with so much to give.
