Obituary For Alan Rogers Torres
Alan affectionately known as "Pewee", entered into rest on May 28, 2012 in Castro Valley at the age of 50. Born December 19, 1961 in Fremont and raised in the Decoto District of Union City. Alan had a good heart and had a gift for making friends. He enjoyed reading, listening to Oldies, restoring cars and was a gifted mechanic. He was always eager and willing to help others.
Survived by his mother Maria Elena Torres; brothers Albert James R. Torres, Alfredo R. Torres, Alexander R. Torres, Alonzo R. Torres, and Michael R. Torres; sister Alice Herrera; children Alan Marcus and Salina; and lifelong friend and wife Alexandra Torres. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Alfred R. Torres and sister Alura R. Torres. Alan will be forever in our hearts and missed deeply by all who knew and loved him
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 5, from 5-8pm with a vigil at 6:30pm at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 703 C Street, Union City, CA 94587. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 6, 10am at Our Lady of the Rosary Church. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward. Please dress casually.
