Obituaries

Aloysia Moss died at home on Thursday, April 8. She was 85 years old. She is survived by her loving husband, Bob; brother Bernie; two children, Laura and Mike; and two grandchildren.

Aloysia, known to friends and family as Loy, was a beloved member of the community. She welcomed everyone into her home and her heart. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she came to California in the early 1970s. She moved to Fremont with her husband in 1978.

As a homemaker, Loy gave her all to taking care of her husband, children, mother, and brother. She attended St. Leonard’s church and taught catechism classes there. She loved her bible study group at Our Lady of the Rosary through which she made lifelong friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 15 2021 at 9:30 AM at Fremont Chapel of the Roses followed by a Funeral Mass, 11:30 AM, at Our Lady of Guadalupe on Blacow Rd. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward will follow.
