Obituary For Andres Alfonso Montalvo
Born on November 30th, 1930 in Chihuahua, Mexico, and entered into rest on November 18th, 2015 in Union City, California at the age of 84. Survived by his wife of 52 years Olivia Montalvo; daughters: Alma Montalvo-Murphy (Todd), and Diana Montalvo-Christensen (Thomas); son: Andres Montalvo, Jr.; and grandchildren: Ashley, and Maxx.
Andres was proud of having served in the US Army and would talk about the countries and places he visited and the people he met. He loved to dance which he did with his wife and partner of 53 years every opportunity they had. He enjoyed reading, listening to music, and traveling but most of all he loved being with his family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 27th, from 4-8pm with a Chapel Service at 6:30pm at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 4th, 9:30am at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 32223 Cabello St., Union City, CA 94587. Inurnment at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA.
