Obituary For Angel Galvez Marquez
Entered into rest on August 12, 2012 in Santa Clara at the age of 73. Devoted husband of 50 years to Carolina Reyes Marquez. Beloved father of Sylvia Huerta Marquez De Garza, Maria Marquez Rodriguez, Angel Marquez, Jr., Victor Marquez, Sofia Marquez Lopez, and Ezequiel Theodore Marquez. Grandfather of 16 and great-grandfather of 4. Cherished brother of Cruz Marquez, Nicolas Galvez, Mariana Marquez, and Anna Maria Marquez.
Born May 5, 1939 in Zacatecas, Mexico, Angel was a garbage man for 37 years. He was a cowboy and a farmer, a total outdoors-man. But most of all a spiritual man and a loving father.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 17, from 5-8pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. A chapel service will be held on Saturday, August 18, 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Fremont, CA.
