Obituary For Angelina Aranda Laguer
Entered into rest on January 28, 2013 in Hayward, CA at the age of 64. Survived by her husband Charlie Laguer; her children: Julie Villasana Nowicki (Billy), and Charlie Laguer (Renee); her grandchildren: Charlie, Carlos, Thomas, Rosa, Angelica, and Destiny; her great-grandchild Elianna; and her sister Gloria Fuerniss (Al). Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Angelina Villasana, and her brother Thomas Villasana.
Born June 3, 1948 in Hayward, CA, Angie lived in Newark and Fremont for several years. She attended Newark High School (class of 66). She retired from AC Transit as a bus driver in 2004. She met her husband Charlie while she was employed at Western Electric. She was a Material Handler and he was a Lead Operator. Angie volunteered for Los Danzantes de Alegria Folklorico Group. She enjoyed miniatures arts and crafts, going to casinos, and traveling with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 4, from 1-3pm and a Chapel Service will begin at 3pm, all at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536.
Donations may be made to the Hispanic Community Affairs Council - Scholarship Fund, PO Box 3151, Hayward, CA 94540.
