Anna Francis Keller Arington passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the age of 108. She was the third of four children, born October 19, 1913 in Kansas City, Missouri. She lived her last 83 years in Fremont.

After going on a blind date, set up by one of her friends, she met her husband, J. Lee Arington. They dated a few months and Lee asked her to marry him. Together, they raised three sons in Fremont, and were blessed with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary before Lee passed away in 2007.

Anna was known for her loyalty to friends, her sensible advice and quick wit. She was a member of the Snails Walking Group, Rebekah Lodge and the Centerville Presbyterian Church. She was an accomplished baker and was known for her fabulous pies. She enjoyed playing Bridge and gardening. Anna believed family and friends were the most important part of her life.

Anna is survived by her three sons, Richard Arington (wife Marita) of San Jose, Donald Arington (wife Nancy) of Walnut Creek, and Robert Arington of Fremont, as well as six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held by the family.
