Obituaries

Entered into rest on January 11, 2013 in Fremont, CA at the age of 93. Devoted mother to Anne L. Fox and her husband Jon, Michael L. Gamboa and his wife Sharon, Sharron I. Flores and her husband Martin, and Rebecca L. Gamboa. Beloved grandmother of Nikki, Mathew, Jake, Shane, Vicky, Staci, Anthony, Gabriel, and Martin. Also survived by several great-grandchildren.

Born December 14, 1919 in Summerland, CA, Anne lived in Santa Barbara where she attended high school and beauty college. For 47 years she lived in San Lorenzo and the last 6 in Fremont where she was lovingly cared for by the entire staff at Emeritus Atherton Court, her assisted living home away from home. Anne loved to read, garden, travel, knit, crochet, and sew. She made beautiful afghans and all of the costumes and outfits for her children's dance recitals and baton competitions.

A Memorial Service will be held for Anne on Saturday, January 19, 2pm at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536.
