Obituary For Ascencion Amima Garcia
Entered into rest on October 15, 2012 in Hayward, CA at the age of 102. Predeceased by his wife Teresa Garcia in 2006. Beloved father of Rodolfo Garcia of Fremont, Dolores Macias of Union City, and Mary Ann Garcia of Union City. Treasured grandfather of Rose Macias, Joseph Macias, Rudy Garcia, Ronnie Garcia, Lisa Macias, Jaime Garcia, and Belinda Goulart.
Born May 5, 1910 in Torreón, Coahuila, MX, Ascencion was a longtime resident of Decoto. He always enjoyed gardening and was very proud of his age.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, from 5-8pm with a Vigil at 7pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 23, 10am at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 703 C Street, Union City, CA 94587. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.

Grandpa, You will be deeply missed. Never, ever will I "salute" a shot of tequila without hearing you say..."Por la mala governata" I am sure I didn't spell that correctly...but grandpa always said that meaning, "To the bad government"
