Obituary For Beatrice Mae Williams

Beatrice Mae (Bradley) Williams, age 89, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Sunday, April 8, 2018. Beatrice was born to Melvin and Emma Bradley on January 30, 1929 in Cardwell, Missouri. She is the oldest of four children. In November 1942 her family relocated to Fremont (then known as Niles), CA. Beatrice married Alvie Harvey Williams June 26, 1946 with whom she had two sons (whom she idolized), Donald Harvey Williams (preceded her in death February 2003) and Gary Lee Williams. Beatrice and Harvey later divorced in 1975. Beatrice and Robert Woods were married on October 8, 1988.

Beatrice worked very hard to help support her family. She worked at the Masonic Home (Hayward, CA), started her own business "Busy Bea's, and worked for Lockheed (Sunnyvale) - finally retiring after many dedicated years. Even after retiring from full time work, she worked part-time for a local company as well as actively volunteering for cancer care patients.

Beatrice is survived by her husband Robert Woods, son Gary Williams (wife Nancy); step-sons: Robert Jr Woods (wife Sam) and Gary Woods (wife Annie); Daughter-in-law Bonnie Williams; Grandsons Cary Williams (wife Michelle) and DJ Williams (wife Amy), Step-granddaughter Michele Stahlman (husband Greg) and Step-grandson Erick Anderson Woods; Sisters: Betty Phillips(spouse Paul - deceased); Emma Joseph (spouse Hal - deceased); Brother: Bobby Bradley (spouse Shirley); many nieces and nephews and the "apple" of her eye her great-granddaughter Eleanor "Ellie" Mae Williams.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Beatrice or to Fairway Park Baptist Church.

    My sincere condolences, dear cousin, to you, Nancy and the family. I'll always remember Aunt Beas smile and laughter. She was so special to me and I loved her very much. May all your precious memories and knowing she's in the arms of our Lord give you comfort and peace. I love you all.
