Betty Jane Williams (née Bennett), age 88, passed away on October 4, 2025. Betty is survived by her husband of 68 years, Marlin Williams, son Bryan Williams and wife Jackie; daughter-in-law Lori Williams; grandchildren Emily Redman and husband Austin, Allison Williams-Jew and husband Michael, Jessica Williams, and Claire Williams; and two great-granddaughters Cora and Faye Redman.

Betty was preceded in death by son Doug Williams, parents Frank and Agnes Bennett, and aunt Liz Owens.

Betty was born on August 11, 1937 in Great Falls, Montana as the only child of Frank and Agnes (Fisher) Bennett. She attended Great Falls High School. As a child, she enjoyed caring for her animals and all things fashion. On Saint Patrick’s Day 1956, she met Marlin, who was stationed at the Great Falls Air Force Base.

Betty and Marlin were married on May 29, 1957. In 1959, Betty and Marlin welcomed their first son, Doug. Fourteen months later, they welcomed their second son, Bryan.

Betty worked at AAA for 40 years before retiring in 1998.

Betty was beautiful deep down to her soul; gentle and kind to every living thing on this planet. She was a well-known animal lover. Many of her cherished cats were strays who found their way to her. She was a long-time supporter of the ASPCA and Humane Society.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, traveling, putting together puzzles, shopping, and her favorite daytime soap: The Bold and the Beautiful.

Betty will be remembered for her loving and caring nature, her love of family, and generous spirit.
