Obituary For Carl Lusk

Carl F. Lusk, born on 11-3-1937, passed away at home on 4-5-2018. Preceding Carl in death was his son Mike Lusk. He is survived by daughters Sheila Sandholdt, Jill Sereday and Kristie Mandeville, son Chris Lusk and two grandchildren, Mike and Jenni Mandeville. Carl loved his family. Enjoyed construction, fast cars, country music, bowling and dancing. When he was younger he loved watching his two son’s play sports. He was kind and caring to everyone he met.

My dad, Carl out to dinner with his and my mom's best friends that were like family, Kenneth Wolfe and Jewel (Wolfe) Parks. This was around 1972. My dad and Jewel remained very close throughout their lives. Dad would call Jewel, "Sis"... The other picture is of him with Jenni Hanson and his little "Sweetie Pie" who gave my dad his beloved granddaughter, Jenni, the love and light of his life and as he would tell anyone, "This is my 'Boss'..."

My Dad taught me about cars and re-building engines at 11 years old. Just because I was his 1st daughter and interested cars and construction, he told me I could choose to be independent and not need to have a man in my life. I have always remembered those lessons in life. I also meet my husband 33 years ago because I would rather go bowling with my Dad on Saturday night's than go out with boys.
