Obituaries

Cathleen R. Saxon, of Fremont, entered into rest on March 23 at the age of 86. She was a loving mother to her children; Pete Saxon, Alex Saxon and Diana Sugihara (Neil)l. Beloved grandmother to Ryan and Claire. Cherished sister to Alice Martinez, Maryann Balin, Grable Ramirez, Juanita Leyva, Thomas Ramirez, Asencion Mijares, Silverio Ramirez and Lupe Cordova. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Cathleen was a past member of the Y.L.I. De Guadalupe Institute #74. She was also part of the Fleet Reserves and was the Post Commander at the Niles Veterans Hall 1968-1984. She truly loved all her birds and cats.

Visitation will be at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, on Wednesday, March 28, 4-8pm with a Vigil Service at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 43148 Mission Blvd., Fremont, on Thursday, March 29, 10am. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward.
