Obituaries

Charlotte Leinaala Ahnee was born on October 26, 1938 in Hawaii and entered into rest on August 29, 2019 in Hayward, CA at the age of 80. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandma, auntie, neighbor, and friend. Ohana was her life and she had room in her heart for everyone she met. She is survived by her loving sisters Darling, Theresa and Sheila; six children including Stanley (Honi), Kelly and Bobby; her three daughters, Laura, Donna and Charlotte. Adoring grandmother to Jordan, Skyler, Peyton, Benjamin, Donovon, Austin and Mason.

A native of the Hawaiian Island of Oahu, she carried the Aloha Spirit with her to the mainland and settled in the Bay Area. She loved to dance the hula, play ukulele, and was a singer at heart. All that knew her understood her voice. She was a woman with an extensive vocabulary and was proficient in the use of four-letter words. She may not have been famous but she was infamous with an unforgettable spirit who played a big part in the lives of many.

She is loved and will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 13, 2019, Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont.
