Colathur Chakravarthy Rajagopalan (aka CCR) peacefully went home to be with the Lord in the early hours of Jan 29, 2019, at the age of 92.

CCR completed his Intermediate in Presidency College, Chennai, India and entered into a career in Government Service right after. A plunge into a career that prevented him from pursuing higher studies bothered him for the rest of his life, thus leading to his lifelong pursuit of helping/encouraging people to get an excellent education.

He remains our family icon and bedrock for the principles and the values he taught us to live by.

He led a complete life with his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

His curiosity to learn, attention to detail, deep thinking, hard work, quick wit, humility, decisiveness and a genuine interest in the welfare of others have been an inspiration to our family.

We will miss him dearly and will always be reminded of him thus:

Try and leave this world a little better than you found it, and when your turn comes to die, you can die happy in feeling that at any rate, you have not wasted your time but have done your best.
