Obituary For Conrad Eugene Preciado

Conrad passed away courageously with his wife Margie (Judy Pagan), just shy of 50 years of marriage, and 3 daughters by his side. He is survived by his family members; Terri (John) Jennifer, Jonathon, Tayler Peters; Becky (Ken) Alex, Gabe, KT Stange; Shawna (Tom), Isabella, and Lane Curtin; His siblings Joaquin (Shirley), Angelita (Bob) Richards, Micaela (Gene) Owens, Luz (Gail), Hortensia (Ken preceded in death) Peffer, Robert (preceded in death) Diolinda. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

His lifetime careers included body and fender work, Captain of the Union City Fire Department, and a successful real estate agent.

He served in the National Guard, was an active member of the Knights of Columbus at Our Lady of the Rosary, and was honored as a lifetime member in the Union City Lions Club.

His joys in life were traveling with his family and any chance to gather with friends and family. He also enjoyed being a fan at all of his grandkids sporting events.

He will best be remembered for his giving heart. He always cared for the less fortunate and would give the shirt off his back to those in need. Conrad had many obstacles along the way, but the one thing he maintained was his determination to live life to the fullest with what challenges he was dealt.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 5-8pm with a vigil at 7pm at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 703 C Street, Union City, CA 94587. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 16, 10am at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation, 2601 Mission St., Suite 401, San Francisco, CA 94110.
