Entered into rest on March 14, 2012 in Fairfield at the age of 84. Loving father of Debbie A. Derham of Fremont, David C. Longtin of Fremont, and Diana M. Flores of Fairfield. Survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Esther Longtin.

Born January 10, 1928 in Walhalla, ND, Cyril was a member of the American Legion Post 290 in Murphys, and St. Patrick's Parish in Angels Camp. He enjoyed woodworking and country living.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 19, 4-8pm with a vigil at 7pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on March 20, 10am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Burial will follow at Irvington Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
