Daniel Edward Brown, 68, passed away peacefully at his home in Fremont, with wife and brother at his side. He fought a good fight with pancreatic cancer.

He is survived by his spouse Esther, his children Philip (Ashley), Chibi (Becky), and Luke (Catherine), all of his grandchildren, and brothers.

He was predeceased by his parents and many other family members.

He was born in Alton, IL, to his parents, Bill and Clara Brown. His parents were missionaries in Africa where he grew up. He graduated from Iowa City High School. Then attended Faith Baptist Bible College where he married Esther Carle. They moved to California and worked as a Senior Software Design Engineer for the rest of his life. He designed many of the things you use today. He was able to go back to Paris six months before he passed away. He loved traveling and having adventures. What Dan saw, was the beauty the hands of God made and loved to share it with others. Dan had genuine joy for life and sense of humor will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
