Obituary For David C. Couthren
David C. Couthren passed away peacefully after a 3 year battle with cancer on January 8, 2016 in Hayward at the age of 68. He is survived by his loving wife Jeannie Couthren, son Jeff (Kelly) Couthren, and daughter Sherry (Jason) Nuckels. His grandchildren; Ashley Couthren, Christian Lima, Lily Couthren and Jack Couthren, his nephew Bob (Mary) Mallery and great niece Vicki Mallery. He was predeceased by his son David in 1968.
David was a longtime resident of Fremont who recently moved to Hayward. He was proud of his many commendations in the U.S. Air Force and many years of work with Toyota parts department. David was an avid hunter and fisherman. He took yearly fishing trips to Sonora for the past 30 years with his son Jeff to catch the "big one".
At David's request, no services will be held.

To my best friend Jeannie and family~ My heart is heavy..yet i smile at all the memories i will cherish forever!! I am sending prayers and hugs. I am blessed that you and Dave made me and my son Christian part of your family. I will treasure every second and so glad that we stayed in touch over the years and many miles. Dave made me laugh so much, right up until 2 weeks ago when we were on the phone and he was busting my chops in the background, as always! Love him so much...love all of you. He will now get to teach David how to fish...and will be your guardian Angel. I know my Dad will want to meet him and they will be great buddies. And they both like the cheap beer 🙂 May God and the wonderful memories comfort you now and always. I love and miss you tons.....even if I can't be there in person, I am with you always.
