Obituaries

Born on June 28th, 1924 in New York, and entered into rest on August 26th, 2016 in Hayward, CA at the age of 92. Survived by his wife Charlotte Benedict; sons: Paul Benedict (Marilyn), Roger Benedict, Doug Benedict (Jodi); and 6 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his brother, James Benedict.

David was always an avid outdoors enthusiast. He enjoyed canoeing, water and snow skiing, hiking, and exploring the country on his motorcycle. In his later years, David took up bird watching and volunteering at the Point Reyes Visitor Center to share his love of the outdoors with others. He was a thoughtful, caring man who is loved and missed by his friends and family.
