Obituary For David E. Milani
David E. Milani, 3 days short of age 80, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021. Son of the late Ernest and Arbutus Milani, he was born on January 27, 1941, in Oakland and was a former resident of Newark. David is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ann Milani, and his son, David Milani, Jr. He was cousin to Amelia Silvey of Fremont, Louis Milani of Monterey, and Joan Hembree and Mervin Milani of Cottage Grove, Oregon.
He was known as an avid worker and affectionado of classic cars, a former meat cutter for Lucky Stores and former mail contractor with USPS. He was also known for his big smile, jovial attitude and his wavy silver hair.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021, 12 PM, at Fremont Chapel of the Rose, 1940 Peralta Boulevard, Fremont, with a Chapel Service at 1 PM. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward.

One memory of my Uncle Dave was a family outing at night in and around Colterville, Sonora and Mariposa. We drove up a mountain with lots of hair pin curves to view the milky way at night. An awesome sight!
