Obituaries

Born May 13, 1944 in San Francisco and entered into rest on May 12, 2014 in Fremont at the age of 69.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years Janis, his sons Adam and Stuart, his father Ernie, sister Debra and grandson Jasper.

David served as a staff Sargent for the Marines Corp in Vietnam and completed 3 tours of duty. After his time in the service, he held a successful sales career in the communications industry for over 30 years. He was loved by his customers, in which many of them became close friends and long time clients. David was passionate about sailing and loved his dogs Annie, Boo, CiCi and Maggie. He was a kind, compassionate and friendly person who would make friends with just about anyone he engaged in conversation with. He was a unique individual and a gentle soul who will be missed dearly by anyone who knew him. We love him more than words can explain, and his presence will be missed.

A memorial service will be held for David in San Jose on May 31st. Please contact the immediate family for more information.
