Obituary For Diane E. Scrempos

Diane Scrempos passed away peacefully on January 15, 2023 at the age of 76. Diane was born on October 27, 1946 in San Francisco, CA to Albert and Eleanore Escalante. She graduated from Mission High School in 1964. On July 25, 1964 she married the love of her life, John Scrempos. They raised their two sons, Pete and Steve in Milpitas, CA. She worked many years in marketing and sales at Monolithic Memories, Inc. (MMI) and persevered through numerous acquisitions. Her colleagues knew her as a kind soul and dedicated employee.

Diane was very creative and enjoyed crafting keepsakes for her friends and family. She was a lover of the arts and enjoyed attending theatrical productions, with her grandaughter, Mariah. She would proudly boast about all six of her granchildren’s accomplishments and enjoyed attending all of her grandson’s sporting events. As a grandmother, her hands were rarely still, often taking her grandchildren on outings to the beach and orchestrating arts and crafts. To her sons and grandchildren, she was always the perfect fan.

Diane was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John, siblings Ronald and Shirley, and parents, Albert and Eleanore. She is survived by her sons, Pete (Sandy) and Steve (LaRae), grandchildren, Mariah, John, Jason (Crystal), Lavelle, Sedale, and Justin, sisters, Linda and Joanne and countless nieces and nephews.

Services will take place on Saturday, January 28th at 11:00 AM at Fremont Chapel of the Roses located at 1940 Peralta Blvd, Fremont, CA 94536.
