Dionisia “Annie” Maniling Largado, age 62 of Newark, California, passed away the evening of January 28, 2021 due to kidney failure. Beloved sister, auntie, friend, and mother.

Dionisia was born in Bayambang, Pangasinan Philippines on October 9th, 1958 to Gregoria Maniling and Cipriano Maniling. The family first relocated to Newark, California on August 15th, 1990. In 1993, Dionisia worked as a caregiver but shortly retired in 1999 when she found out she was pregnant with her son, Henry, and became a stay-at-home mom. Dionisia enjoyed going for walks, loved meeting new people, shopping for new bags and clothes, doing crossword puzzles, doing laundry, loved getting her nails and hair done, and enjoyed spending time with her family, no matter the event.

Dionisia is preceded in death by her brother Dodie Maniling, mother Gregoria Maniling and father Cipriano Maniling. She is survived by her son Henry Largado and her four sisters and two brothers; Wilma Maniling, Violeta Campos, Felomina Aquino, Butch Jay Maniling, and Nicasio Maniling.

Due to current COVID conditions, social distance protocols and the weather, we are only having immediate family attend the viewing and funeral. However, we will be doing a live broadcast for those who still wish to attend the event. We will be hosting the viewing.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 4 – 7 PM with a Prayer Service at 5:00 PM, Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont. A Chapel Service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM, Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont. Burial to follow at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward.
