Before there was a reality show called "Survivor", there was THE survivor, Dolores - suddenly widowed with four children to raise, she persevered and endured and raised those children into intelligent and fun-loving, wonderful adults. She made the "mundane" things wondrous and exciting for everyone around her. She lit up any room she entered. The last few years she suffered many ailments and physical setbacks and was counted "out" by many in the medical profession but she always bounced back, proving them all wrong! Despite her many ailments, she never lost that wicked sense of humor that had seen her through so many difficulties throughout all the years and she delighted in the smallest to the largest accomplishments of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren! She made everything around her fun for anyone lucky enough to be in her presence! She was truly one of a kind and I feel so blessed to have known her!!!
