Donald Robert Bartlett, age 59, died in Puyallup, Washington on Monday, June 15th from a heart attack.

Don was born on April 29, 1956 in Tillamook, Oregon. He grew up in Newark, California and went to St. Edward's Catholic School before graduating from Newark High School in 1974. Don was a long time employee at Lucky Supermarket until retiring in 2009. He moved to Puyallup, WA shortly after his retirement. Don was an avid fisherman who was also known for his gardening skills.

Don is lovingly remembered by his mother Donna Bartlett of Union City, CA; his sister Sheryl Bartlett of Union City, CA; his nieces: Vanessa Ruhland (Joseph) of Lakeville, MN, Danielle Gonzalez (Roberto) of Union City, CA, and Andrea Rost of Tempe, AZ; and great nieces and nephews: Dominic, Caitlin, Mia, Benjamin, and Annika. Don was also loved by his many friends in Puyallup and other friends and relatives. Don was preceded in death by his father Robert Bartlett, brother Randal Bartlett, and sister Laura Gehl.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 20th at 12pm at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 703 C Street, Union City, CA 94587. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
