Obituary For Donna May Chiapetto
Donna entered into rest on March 20, 2014 at the age of 76. She was born on August 14, 1937 in Santa Cruz, CA to parents Percy and Thelma Miller (deceased). She was raised by her grandmother Mattie Miller (deceased) and her step-mother Hazel Miller (deceased). She is also predeceased by her siblings Don, Marci, and Sandy. Donna was a lifelong Bay Area resident, spending her last 47 years in Fremont, CA.
She married her high school sweetheart William W. "Bill" Chiapetto in June of 1955. They were blessed with 4 children and 7 grandchildren. Bill and Donna were happily married until Bill's death in September of 2008, celebrating their 53rd wedding anniversary on June 2008.
Donna had several interests which included country music, sewing, camping, fishing, and playing cards with her family. She was an avid animal lover, Donna's "family" always included several pets and she leaves behind a very special kitty, Cassie. She was focused on raising her family, but also provided child care for 20+ years for several children whom she loved and treated like they were her own. These kids are adults now, but they still feel like part of the family to this day.
