Obituary For Elja Dutra Silveira
Elja Dutra Silveira passed away early morning Thursday, April 20th in Fremont, California from complications due to a stroke.
Born April 23rd, 1934 in Pico, Azores, Portugal, she was just 3 days away from celebrating her 83rd birthday. She was a caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who is survived by her two sons: Manuel Silveira and Antonio Silveira; daughter in-law, Elisabeth Silveira; and two grandchildren: Christina Silveira and Anthony Silveira. She also leaves behind a sister, Laura Silva, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 25th, from 9:30-10:30am at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 25th, 11am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 41933 Blacow Rd., Fremont, CA 94538. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
