Obituary For Elsie Anita Rago
Elsie peacefully went home to be with the Lord with her family by her side. Devoted wife to Tony, her loving husband of 63 years, who passed away last year. Together they had 3 children: Anna (Bruce, deceased) Andrade, Pamela (David) Wipprecht, and Tony (Milena) Rago. Loving grandma to Bobby (Angela) Accardo, Tony Rago, and Amanda Rago. Predeceased by her parents, her sister, and 2 brothers.
Elsie had a very loving and giving heart. For years she has generously contributed to priests in Africa and India, to several animal charities due to her love for animals and other organizations. She never forgot a birthday or anniversary, everyone received a card. Elsie loved spending time with family and friends, especially when a poker game was planned. Given the opportunity she and her husband enjoyed playing those one-armed bandits! She excelled at gardening and cooking.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 17, 10am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 37891 2nd St., Fremont, CA 94536. Burial will follow at Lone Tree Cemetery in Hayward, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Elsie to the ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929 or to The Humane Society, Department of Philanthropy, 700 Professional Dr., Gaithersburg, MD 20879.

Dear Mama, The loss I feel in losing you makes me so sad, but when I think of you in Heaven with Daddy and our Lord Jesus I know you are where you should be. Dear Mum, The Lord blessed me so much when He gave you to me--- what a wonderful mother you have been, always watching over me with love, care, concern, understanding, and support beyond measure.
