Emilia G. Pacheco entered into rest peacefully on November 30, 2021 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Dementia, she was 95.

Emilia is survived by her loving, devoted daughter Alda Peixoto and husband Manuel, and also a son, Nelson Pacheco and wife Maria Rosario. Adored grandmother to 4 grandchildren, James Perry Jr. and fiancé Angela, Melissa Villados and husband Nick, Louie Pacheco and wife Laptany. Cherished great grandmother to Zoey and Alani Villados, Ariana, Khatrina and Trinity Pacheco, and Liam Pacheco. Emilia is also survived by 2 sisters, Rosa Bertao and Maria Farinha. She is predeceased by her husband Antonio Pacheco, son Antonio Urbano Pacheco and second husband Roy Pacheco. Brothers Manuel Gomes Borba and John Gomes Borba also preceded her death.

Emila was born January 23, 1926 in Lajes, Terceira, Azores to Joao Gomes and Maria Egito De Borba. Emilia then immigrated to America in 1972. Emilia was a talented seamstress by nature and had a passion for sewing and crochet. She was also a devoted babysitter to many children.
She was a devout catholic and devoted to the Holy Ghost festivals where she was an avid volunteer.

Services for Emilia will take place on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Visitation is from 11am to 1pm at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd. Fremont, CA 94536 with a Chapel Service starting at 1pm. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 26320 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544.
