Obituary For Emma B. Tondag
Emma B. Tondag was born on December 9, 1926 in Arizona. She is survived by her children: Nancy Tondag, Shirley Chew, Daniel A. Tondag, Jr., four grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Daniel Ferris Tondag.
Emma retired from Washington Hospital as the Assistant Director of Environmental Services. After her retirement she became a member of Washington Hospital Service League. She was also a member of the Ancient Order of Druids in America.

My first evaluation at the hospital.... I was late every Friday before my weekend off , was kind walked me to the morgue wear a mask she recognized I was uncomfortable .... Salt of the Earth..... The greatest generation.... World War 2 Participants.... She would tell of underground families coming out, Strict rules of segregation..... My Father always had emotional tone in his voice When Alvarado community was mentioned..... He worked 4 Oliver Salts, now Oliver corners.... Wish we could archive their experiences
