Although I didn't personally meet Ed many times, there was a soft spot in my heart for him as he loved and was so good to Dottie. Please remember the many good times to help you through this difficult time.

Taken from us way to early. He was just getting used to being retired. I know he loved his family so much especially those wonderful Grand kids. Ed was a baby kisser for sure. Fast Eddie was my favorite Ed.I can see him now in heaven, Holding a cue stick, telling St Peter to rack em up if you want a win your wings back, or shake em Jake, my fingers ache, or how about the famous, You didn't come in here checking. Hanging with Eddie was always an experience that bordered on breaking the law. Remember when two cops came into D infernos and Fast Eddie told the cop he looked just like "Shirley Temple. I hear they woke up face down in the alley out back after that one. This guy's life was one big thrill ride. He always pushed things to their limit. Things will never be the same in Heaven now that he's back together with Lucas, Lucy, Albert and that Ford Mustang he shot!!!

Eddie, you will be missed. You were such a wonderful man, always so nice everytime I saw you at NUMMI. In all my years at NUMMI, I never heard anyone say anything negative about you...and that's unusual for a UAW rep. You were respected and loved by so many. Next time I go to La Casita in Fremont, I'll order the Poor Valdez menu item and think of you. Rest In Peace, Eddie. My heart and prayers are with your family at losing such a great man.

Dolores, Michelle and everyone: So sorry for your loss. Ed was a sweetie. He always seemed so unassuming and care free. I remember the first time I met you guys, it was love at first site. You made Paul and I feel like a part of the family even before the kids got married. And even more so by whipping our butts at poker. That was a great night. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
