Obituary For Esther Joy Dare
Regretfully, and heartbreaking, Esther "Joy" Dare, 89, passed away on January 14, 2026, surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Joy had a difficult battle with several illnesses, and is finally at rest with her Lord and Savior. She will be forever loved, and forever remembered.
As requested by the family, private services will be held at Fremont Chapel Of The Roses, and entombment will be conducted at the Lone Tree Cemetery in Hayward, Ca. We do appreciate your love and support.
As per Joy's request, in lieu of flowers, any donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

May peace be with the family I pray the beautiful memories comfort all of you . I have know joy and Jennifer for a very long time . Joy used to babysit my daughter when she was a like 2 , she's now 27 . She was so good to my daughter and we both just adored her . I often thought of her . May you rest in peace joy God bless you . 🙏🩷
