Obituaries

Ethel Bosch 98, of Fremont, CA passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025. She was born in McGill, NV September 18, 1926 to Hyum and Caroline Christensen. Ethel attended Oakland High School where she graduated a year early. She then pursued a career as a Dental Assistant.

Away from work Ethel developed a lifelong love affair with good books and animals. She also could entertain friends and family for hours with interesting stories of growing up during the depression, the war years, the 50s, being a parent in the troubling 60s, etc.

Ethel is preceded in death by her husband Robert Bosch, daughter Karen Dodson, 1 sister and 4 brothers. She is survived by her son Danny Bosch of Santa Rosa, CA son-in-law Darryll Dodson of San Leandro, CA Granddaughters Emily Mayfield of Lincoln, CA and December Lutz of Pleasanton, CA. Grandsons

Jason and Jack Bosch of Wichita, KS, James Bosch of Petaluma, CA. 14 great grand children and 2 great, great grand children.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 16, 2025 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, at 810 Walnut Ave. in Fremont from 3pm to 4pm. Followed by a potluck for friends and family from 4pm to 6pm.
