Evelyn Pereira of Fremont passed away on April 21, 2026 at the age of 92. She is survived by her son Michael Pereira and his wife Christine, daughter Cindy Dhooghe and her husband George, grandchildren Amanda Whitmore (Jack), and Ryan Fitzpatrick, and her great grandchildren Amelia and Gabriel.

Evelyn was the Holy Ghost queen at St. Joseph’s parish in Fremont during her high school years. She was a member of the Freemonteers and R Amigos. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting, baking, and loved to go winetasting.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 11am at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd. in Fremont.
