Frank was born on October 29, 1928 in Gustine, and he passed away on December 9, 2020 in Fremont at the age of 92. He is survived by his children Larry Silveira, Duane (Rachel) Silveira, Richard Silveira, Steven (Andra) Silveira, and 8 grandchildren.

Frank served in the U.S. Navy, was a cook on the U.S.S. BAUSELL (DD-845) during the Korean War. He was married to one wife Lucy for 67 years. He was a sports fan who loved the 49ers and was a season ticket holder for 30 years. Frank loved to camp and fish at Half Moon Bay. He was an excellent father. He also enjoyed traveling with friends thru the years.

Preceded in death by his parents Frank V. Silveira and Matilda L. Silveira, brother Manuel J. Silveira. His wife Lucy G. Silveira, son Frank J. Silveira and grandson William Irwin.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 10:30 AM, St. Edward Catholic Church, 5788 Thornton Ave., Newark. A Chapel Service to follow at 12:30 PM, Fremont Chapel of 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont. A Graveside will be held Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 12:00 PM, Hills Ferry Cemetery, 1334 W. Stuhr Rd, Newman.
