Obituaries

Passed away peacefully on January 19, 2014, at the age of 94. Frank was born in Chicago, Ill., on October 2, 1919. He married Mary Yeroshek on Nov. 2, 1941, who passed away in 1998 after 57 years of marriage. Frank served in the U.S. Army during WWII, moved to Fremont in 1960 where he raised his family, and worked for General Electric until he retired. He is survived by his children, Geri Grubbs (Ed), Ken (Joanne), and Bob (Elaine). He leaves seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, from 5-8pm with a Vigil at 6:30pm at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 23, 10am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Fremont, CA.

In lieu of flowers, family prefers donations to the City of Fremont CA Senior Center (www.fremont.gov/hsdonate) in memory of Frank S. Brencic.
