Frieda P. McKnight, 88, beloved sister and friend, of Fremont, California, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 21, 2012. She was born July 6, 1926 in Hawthorne, New Jersey to Rudolph and Frieda Weinrich. She was one of eleven children and is survived by her brother Rudolph Weinrich of Texas, and her sisters Elsie Dursema, Alice Siletti, and Pauline Bailey of New Jersey. Frieda relocated to Fremont in 1971 and married Burt Mcknight who predeceased her in 1990. She was a dedicated nurse for more than 40 years. Frieda was an inspiration to us all; full of fun, compassionate and loving. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends who dearly loved her.
