Obituaries

Born October 30, 1922 in Brandenburg, KY, Georgia passed away quietly in her sleep on November 14, 2012 at the age of 90. She was preceded in death in 1977 by her husband of 33 years, Walter F. Riechers. She is survived by her brother, William Pack, of Kentucky, two sons, Daniel Riechers of Fremont, CA and Garry Riechers of Whitefish, MT, 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Georgia, a longtime resident of Fremont since 1959, also resided in Modesto, CA from 1946 to 1959. She was an active member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Fremont. An accomplished seamstress she made many outfits and costumes for her grandchildren. Her hobbies included baking, canning and spending time with her grandchildren. She was helpful and supportive to assist her family and friends in need of help whatever the need might be. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her and the family is comforted in the knowledge that she is home with the Lord and will rest in peace.

No services will be held. Her remains will reside with her father, Oliver Pack, and mother, Emily Pack, in Brandenburg, KY.
