Gerry was a wonderful person. She was a great example of a disciple of Christ. She was a devoted wife to her husband Neil. She was a loving mother to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She lived her life serving others. And will be lovingly remembered by all of her family and friends.
Hobbies: Gardening - She loved homegrown tomatoes, and spent many hours tending to her backyard garden.
Baking - She often made homemade bread and rolls for her family and on special occasions.
Coloring - she enjoyed coloring pictures for teaching church classes and sharing with her younger grand and great-grandchildren.
Sewing - she made many items of clothing for her children including wedding dresses for her three daughters.
Reading - She loved to read children's books to her little ones.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many assignments. She enjoyed teaching Primary (Children's classes) well into her 80's. She also enjoyed serving as an ordinance worker in the Oakland Temple.
Charitable donations can be made to the Humanitarian Services of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 11 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 48950 Green Valley Road, Fremont, California 94539.
