Obituary For Gretchen Melissa Gearhart

Gretchen Gearhart passed away at the age of 53 from natural causes on April 18, 2021 in Fullerton, CA. She was born December 26, 1967 to the proud parents of Joyce A. and William R. Gearhart. The oldest of three children in her family. She is survived by her brother Jeffrey S. Gearhart and her mother Joyce A. Gearhart of Fremont, CA. She is predeceased by her brother Bradford W. Gearhart and her father William R. Gearhart.

She attended Cabrillo Elementary, Thornton Jr. High and graduated from American High School in 1986. She attended Santa Barbara Business College in Fremont, CA and earned her degree in Human Resources. She worked the majority of her career in this field. In the late 1990’s Gretchen moved to the Los Angeles area and later bought her home in Fullerton, CA where she resided until her passing. Gretchen worked for ROSS corporate office. World Airways Center’s Credit Union, FDIC in Irvine, CA and lastly worked for the past 24 years with Southern Wine & Spirit’s company. Though Gretchen never married or had children, she was very much loved by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 10:30am-12pm with a Chapel service beginning at 12pm at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward.

May the peace that passes all understanding be with our dear neighbor of 10 years of the past in Fremont, CA and we have Yâall in our prayers and. Love Yâall! We are so sorry we re not able to be with Yâall as you celebrate life with the Lord and at peace with the Lord in her heavenly eternal home of your beautiful daughter and Sister âduring this trying time! We had such fun memories watching Gretchen grow up and all the great memories of how caring and sweet she was to our kids as they played together and how intelligent she was in school and sweet caring personality! She was filled with unconditional love through all the ups and downs in life! We are so sorry for your loss and all the circumstances Yâall have had to go through, but just remember she is always with Yâall through the beautiful memories you can carry on with in your hearts through the years to come and God is with you by your side at all times to guide and lead you through this new journey he will get you through your Hope and faith in Jesus! God bless and keep your vision upward as you go in this trying journey forward of which Iâm sure Gretchen would want you to keep your Joy from the Lord knowing she loved you and tears of happiness of all the great memories will be with you always!
