Although My Uncle Hector has moved on to join our loved ones in Heaven, he leaves me blessed with wonderful childhood memories of our families visiting and vacationing together. The family camaraderie, good times and fond memories always make me smile. I am thankful for Uncle’s thoughtful ways and his great cooking. I appreciate his prayers for me and my family always. He would often tell me what great parents I have. He was right. Thank you Tio. Uncle, until we pass unto eternity from here to join you...know this, you are dearly missed. May you rest in the Presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Say hello from me to my beloved parents. Love you, Mela

When I think of Tio Hector, I remember how he loved sharing stories of years past. He would hold everyone’s attention by bringing them into the conversation. I still remember his laugh when Hector and my in laws would get together. This man could share stories which made you wish you had been there. I will always appreciate how Hector would make time to talk with me whenever we had a visit. Now God gets to hear Hector’s stories. Rest In Peace Tio

Hey, Uncle Hector! What’s the big idea, leaving before my next visit? I was sadden to hear you left. I was thinking I still had time and that you still had plenty of gas in the tank. Well, thank you for spending time with me the couple times we last shared. I was so glad you still remembered me and you even said my parents sent me to you, pretty special words to hear and I thought that was profound. You even said a prayer for me. It was clear you knew where you were going and the Spirit of God was alive and well in you. I like the thought of there is no birth and there is no death; there is only the Eternal Love from where we came and shall return. We pass through this very tough place to do some work and then we drop the body when our work is done. You have completed your mission, your journey, and in doing so you have left us with many fond memories of your love, laughter, company, and wonderful family. Everything we love will pass but the memories will always evoke a smile in me whenever I think of my childhood and the family events we shared so happily and so joyfully. You were a part of bringing Heaven down to earth for us all to share. Thank you! Those are some memories that will never go away but permanently recorded forever. You have now gone back Home into the Great Mystery. It’s never goodbye; instead, I will see you again soon and know the many forms in which we have all known each other. Some may say there is nowhere to go because you are everywhere and in God we shall return. In that case, I know you are getting this message. Whatever is on the other side of that Mystery, I know it’s nothing but Love beyond words and imagination. You are back Home now. The veil is lifted and you no longer suffer from the amnesia in being here and it’s clear why you joined us on this tough journey we call life. We all walk behind you and those that left before us. Your courage and faith in your final days here sets an example of what it means to have
