Obituary For Helen Browning Bridge

The beautiful soul that was Helen Browning Bridge passed away peacefully on August 22, 2012. She was surrounded by family when she took her last breath.

Helen was the loving wife of 30 years to her husband Tom, a mother, very proud of her daughter Katherine and a devoted grandmother to her granddaughter Karyn.

In addition to her immediate family Helen was loved and will be missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews on both sides of her family.

Helen worked in the business world most of her adult life. She worked in government consulting, medical research and business development. Helen rose to positions of responsibility in every job she held.

Helen decided on early retirement in 2000 in order to provide care for her granddaughter. Those were the happiest days of Helen's life.

Helen spent the final years of her life enjoying trips to various wine appellations of California, girls' weeks in Pismo Beach and summer trips with her husband and granddaughter.

Everyone who met Helen liked her. She will be missed by both her family and the many friends she acquired over her lifetime.

The family appreciates the efforts of the staff of Washington Hospital, Fremont, who made Helen's last days the best possible.

We've only known Helen for the short time we've lived in Dublin, just over 4 years. We quickly learned what an inspiration Helen was to not only her own immediate family, but to all of the "framily" we have come to know here. Helen was a beautiful soul that will live on forever in our hearts.

We are so sorry for your loss. I wish I would have known her, but based on the daughter she raised she must have been a remarkable woman. Hugs to you all!
