Helen Saia passed away on November 30, 2017 at the age of 100. Helen was born on the Murray Ranch in Livermore, 1 of 8 siblings to parents Michael and Mary (Fallon) Murray. She was a graduate of Livermore High in 1935. Helen received her degree from St. Mary’s School Of Nursing, San Francisco in 1939 and served as a nurse during WWII. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Joseph Saia (1996), sons Gregory Saia (1990) and Joseph M Saia (2012). Helen is survived by sons Robert & (Tracy) Saia, Thomas & (Rhonda) Saia and daughter in law Jan Saia. 7 grandchildren, Scott, Shaundra & (Chris) Palmer, Bobby, Brendon, Justin, Erik & (Lauren), and Dylan. 4 great grandchildren, Miranda, Kai, Natalie, and Brooke. Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Holy Spirit Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, Ca.
