Obituaries

Born September 25, 1949 in Ueda City, Japan, and entered into rest on January 16, 2013 in Fremont, CA at the age of 63. Devoted husband of 36 years to Ann Taguchi of Fremont. Beloved father of Alex Taguchi and his wife Jenny of Hillsboro, OR, and Len Taguchi of Fremont. Treasured brother of Shinji Taguchi and his wife Etsuko of Ueda City, Japan. Dear uncle of Maki Taguchi of Ueda City, Japan, and Jun Nakamata and her husband Shota of Yokohama, Japan.

Hiro was a devoted husband and loving father. As a young man growing up in Ueda, Japan, he played basketball and joined the English speaking club. During his college days he lived in Sweden for two years. Later, he met his wife, Ann who was a teacher in Japan. After spending five years in Oregon attending Portland State University, they moved to California, where they settled down and raised two wonderful sons. Hiro started his own business, Sales and Marketing International. He continued his love of travel and recently visited France and Japan. He enjoyed watching sports including baseball, soccer and basketball. He was a dear, kind man and will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

A Memorial Service will be held for Hiro on Tuesday, January 22, 3:00pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536.
