Irene R. Maldonado went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on February 24, 2026. She was born on June 28, 1940 in Mexico City and was raised in San Gaspar, Mexico to her mother, Maria Reynoso.

She moved to the United States around the age of 22 and met Augustin Maldonado Who would become her husband of over 60 years. together they owned two restaurants, one of which they ran together for 17 years. She was a very hard worker from a very young age, she was also very funny, caring, and she loved to crochet and did it extremely well as Well, as embroidering . She also loved Word puzzles and coloring, but most of all she loved her family.

Irene was proceeded in death by her mother Maria Reynoso, two brothers Carlos and Armando Jimenez

And her grandson Agustin de Jesus Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Augustin Maldonado her three daughters Irma, Maricela And Margarita, her son Agustine Jr. (Aguie), her brother Roberto Jimenez and a sister Virginia Jimenez as well as seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

We are having a public viewing on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Fremont Chapel Of The Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. A 1:00 PM Funeral Mass we will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, 41933 Blacow Rd., Fremont, CA 94538.
