Obituaries

Isabelle Ann Hall went home to be with the Lord on March 13, 2014. Born in Toledo, Ohio on March 9, 1945, she was the loving wife to her husband Jim whom she met in college. After graduating from high school in Toledo in May of 1963, she entered Bob Jones University in September of that year. In May of 1967 she graduated from Bob Jones with a B.S. in Elementary Education. That fall she began teaching first grade at Pensacola Christian School in Pensacola, Florida. After she and her husband had dated for 3 years they were married in Pensacola on August 12, 1969. In July of 1975 she and her husband moved to Fremont where they have lived ever since. She taught at Calvary Baptist until the school closed in the late 1980's. At that point she began a new career in the legal department at several companies as an administrative assistant. She was active in her church for many years where she often played the flute for Sunday services. She also worked in the children's ministries and for several years was in charge of the deaf ministry. She also enjoyed baking, knitting, crafting, and picnics with her husband.

She is survived by her husband Jim of Fremont, CA, brother Lynn Colwell of Sylvania, OH, sister-in-law Carolyn Colwell of Sylvania, OH, great-niece Mary McGowan (John) of Fairview Park, OH, great-nephew Bob Colwell (Roberta-Lynn) of Sylvania, OH, and sister-in-law Cathie Hall Korman of Annaplois, MD.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, from 12-1pm and the Funeral Service will begin at 1pm at Berean Baptist Church, 2929 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Burial will follow at Irvington Memorial Cemetery in Fremont, CA.
