Obituary For Isabelle Bashian Moser

Wednesday morning, January 23, Isabelle (Zabel) Bashian Moser entered peacefully into rest at home surrounded by family. She was 92 years young and a 53-year resident of Fremont. Isabelle was born in Fresno, California on November 28, 1920. Her full time occupation in life was as a loving wife and mother to her husband John and three children. John preceded her in death.

She is survived by her dear son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Christine, of Fairfax, Virginia; devoted daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Dale Hopper of San Jose; and dear son, Larry, of San Francisco. She was a devoted grandmother to Leanne and Kevin Bennett, Leslie Hopper, Shawna Moser and Michael and Elisabeth Moser. She celebrated in the birth of her three great-grandchildren; Nathan and Caitlyn Moser and Anthony Bennett.

Not only was she a beloved mother, but also a best friend to her children. Advice was often sought, but never given until she was asked.

She loved sports and was an avid fan of the Oakland A?s, the Oakland Raiders, the San Jose Sharks and the Golden State Warriors. On occasion, she was known to have two televisions and a radio on to follow the games.

She loved gardening and every year planted a prolific vegetable garden that was enjoyed by friends and family throughout the year.

She was loved very much and will be missed. Until we meet again, Mom!

She was interred at Irvington Memorial Cemetery.
