Resident of Fremont, California passed away peacefully in her home on January 12, 2026 at the age of 96. Loving wife of Robert Ammon for 56 years. Beloved mother of Veronica Ammon, Robert Ammon and wife Ellen, Jean Ammon, Eleanor Ammon, and Mary MacNeith and husband Chris. Treasured grandmother of Michael and wife Olivia, Theresa and husband Tyler, Stephanie, Ryan, Clarisse, Cassandra and partner Leon, Jeremiah, Kyle and wife Camille, Lucas. Great grandmother of Xavier, Levi, Emily, Katelyn, Ethan, Leon Jr., Mia and Michael. Preceded in death by husband Robert Ammon and daughter Theresa Ammon.

Isabelle was born in North Tarrytown, New York on May 27, 1929. She was a member of the Fremont Lioness Club, Tri-Cities Scottish Association of California and the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, cooking and baking. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 25th, from 3:00 - 4:00 pm with a Funeral Service starting at 4:00 pm at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd. Fremont, CA 94536. Burial will be on Monday, January 26th at 11:30 at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery 32053 West McCabe Road, Santa Nella, CA 95322.
