Obituary For Jack Donald Kleinsasser
Jack Donald Kleinsasser passed away peacefully December 16, 2014, with his wife and family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife Joan Kleinsasser of sixty years, their three children and spouses, Rick & Suzanne (Smith) Kleinsasser, Jeff & Dana Lea (Sperou) Kleinsasser, and Peggy (Kleinsasser) & Tim Lipscomb, and his seven grandchildren, Jack & Kristine (Iniguez) Kleinsasser, and Nate Kleinsasser; Melissa Kleinsasser, Jesse Kleinsasser, and Kayla Kleinsasser; and Karl Lipscomb and Hailee Lipscomb.
Jack is preceded by his father and mother, Dutch and Nina Kleinsasser, and his brother Jim Jones.
Jack lived and enjoyed life fully, every experience seemingly better than the last. He was a wonderfully loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather.
Jack loved spending time with his grandchildren and was their biggest supporter of all their activities; going to baseball games, swimming meets, waterpolo games, soccer games, boy scouts, writing music, martial arts, and theater. He also loved gardening, fishing, going to the beach, and photography. He would also be found having his weekly breakfast with his friends at Denny's. His grandchildren would all agree that he was the best storyteller ever.
Jack joined the Carpenters Union (Local 1622/713) at the age of 18. He has been a member for over sixty years. As a general superintendent, he was responsible for building over 6,000 homes, apartments, condominiums, and commercial buildings. He was also a member of the Fremont Men's Club.
Celebration of Jack’s life will be held Saturday, January 10 at 2:00pm at Prince of Peace Church in Fremont.
